The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) invites applications for the 29th Skill Development Programme on Pharmacovigilance.

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, responsible for setting standards for drugs in the country through the Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP).

The 29th Skill Development Programme on Pharmacovigilance is an initiative by IPC aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge in the field of pharmacovigilance, which is the science and activities related to the detection, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related problems.

The program is scheduled to take place from 3rd to 7th June 2024. During this period, participants will engage in workshops, lectures, and other interactive sessions to gain insights into various aspects of pharmacovigilance.

To attend the program, interested individuals must register by paying a fee of Rs. 1000/- only. This fee likely covers the costs of organizing the program, including venue, materials, and facilitators’ expenses.

Overall, the Skill Development Programme on Pharmacovigilance offers an opportunity for professionals and students in the pharmaceutical field to enhance their understanding and skills in ensuring the safety and efficacy of drugs, contributing to the overall improvement of healthcare standards in India.
